Namaskara: Gesture of greeting, prayer, and respect made by those devoted to the path taught by the buddha. Sitzender Buddha (Lotussitz) auf Sockel made of Basanite is a volcanic, greenish rock. The stone gets its characteristic colour from a lot of clay minerals. The small to medium sized indentations in the rock are a characteristic feature and mark the good quality of the natural stone. The sculptures are frost-resistant, but do not tolerate road salt.
