The Buddha figure made of natural stone (basanite) both hands at chest height. The index finger and thumb of each hand form a circle, the fingertips of the left hand touch the palm of the right hand: This hand posture is called: Setting the wheel of the Teaching in motion (Dharmacakra mudra). Originally, figures with this hand posture sat in the Indian pose, but later it was decided to use this hand posture only for figures in European sitting posture. Very rare also with standing figures.This Buddha made of natural stone (basanite) is a beautiful unique specimen, absolutely weatherproof.
